ABOUT THE ROLE

The Dispatcher coordinates daily yard and delivery operations to ensure precast products are moved efficiently and on schedule. This role acts as a central point of communication between production, delivery teams, and customers to maintain alignment and service quality. Success requires strong organizational skills, quick decision-making, and a focus on safety and accuracy.

Salary range ($25.00-$31.21). Based on location and experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Plan and schedule deliveries of precast materials to meet project timelines.
• Serve as the primary communication link between production teams, drivers, and customers.
• Track and manage inventory levels to ensure materials are available for ongoing work.
• Ensure all dispatch activities comply with safety standards and company procedures.
• Resolve delivery challenges such as delays, damaged items, or scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate shipment, delivery, and inventory records using company systems.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and organized professional with experience in scheduling or logistics coordination. They excel at communication, problem-solving, and managing multiple moving parts in a dynamic environment. This individual is proactive, dependable, and committed to ensuring smooth operations and on-time delivery.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

• High school diploma or equivalent required; logistics or construction experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in dispatch, inventory, or scheduling software systems.
• Knowledge of precast products and construction workflows is beneficial.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.
• Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
• Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
• May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
